spectacular views. It has an abundant larder too.
Venison from the hills, game from the carefully tended woodland,
trout and salmon from the rivers, prime beef from lush pastureland,
fresh fruit and veg, home grown herbs and life's essential spirit -
whisky from pure spring waters.
Needless to say, in the Ballathie kitchen we make full use of
the cornucopia of all that is good.
Over the years at Ballathie, we're known and renowned for our
food. A past winner of Rural Restaurant of the Year, we don't like
to make too much of a meal of it, but we are quietly proud of our
consistantly achieved 2 AA rosettes.
Head Chef, Scott Scorer, brings together the finest produce from
around Perthshire and Scotland to create a fresh twist on classic
cuisine.
Both the lunch and dinner menus change daily to bring the best
of the market or catch of the day straight to your plate.
Allow us to guide you to find the perfect match for your meal
from our large selection of quality wines, with over a dozen to
choose from available by the glass.
Our elegant Dining Room overlooking the River Tay is open daily
for Lunch from 12.30pm to 2.00pm and for Dinner between 7.00pm and
9.00pm. Booking is advisable.
Private Dining Rooms are available for you to gather some
friends and family together to savour the Tastes of Ballathie -
