New Year Breaks Scotland

New Year Breaks in Scotland

Scotland is widely accepted as the best place to be for New Year breaks. Join in the Hogmanay party celebrations with a traditional Scottish New Year break in Scotland from Ballathie House Hotel.

Thursday 30th December 2010
Arrive and settle into your room and start your Hogmanay break in Scotland with afternoon tea in the Drawing Room or Hall. Join your fellow guests for an evening cocktail reception with canapés followed by a delicious Dinner including wines chosen to complement the specially selected menu.

Please note that you will be seated at tables joining other house party guests so do let us know if you are attending with friends.

Friday 31st December 2010
Enjoy a Scottish Country Breakfast before exploring the Perthshire countryside, a local town or village or walking in the grounds. Coffee and Tea with biscuits will be available in the front hall during the day.

Return to a welcoming light lunch before preparing for the big night ahead.

Heed the call of the piper and join fellow guests for Champagne Cocktails and canapés at 7pm prior to the magnificent Black Tie Dinner created by Chef Andrew Wilkie and his team, accompanied by fine wines carefully chosen to match each course by restaurant manager Arnaud Merrouche.

Entertainment will be provided by the Saltire Ceilidh Duo complemented by our discerning D.J. with relevant recorded dance music. Champagne will be served at "The Bells" to welcome in the New Year in Scotland and dancing will continue through until 1am. Stovies will be available for those who wish to keep going longer into the first morning of the new year.
