The city of Perth

Perth is known as the Gateway to the Highlands and is located at the very heart of Scotland by the River Tay and has a population of about 43,000. It is a little inbetween a Large Town and a Small City.  The River Tay runs through the city, meandering under 3 bridges -         

Perth is a lovely shopping centre, many bespoke individual shops to browse through, with some unique little cafe's for a well earned coffee.

With strong rural roots, Perth runs a Famers Market which takes place in the centre of Perth on the 1st Saturday of every month with delicious local farm produce on sale.

If you are interested in culture and the arts, pay a visit to Perth Museum and Art Gallery, the Black Watch Museum or the Ferguson Gallery.  Perth Theatre and Concert Hall play host to a vast range of events throughout the year.
