With a career spanning 18 years including high profile properties such as Skibo Castle, Gleddoch House and Ballathie, having previously worked as Deputy Manager from 2001 to 2005 before working with Macdonald Hotels and Hilton Hotels this is his most satisfying role yet.

Having joined Ballathie 13 years ago as a receptionist, Gail has worked her way up the ladder as head receptionist and front office manager and is now relishing her new role.
Gail is eager to maintain and develop our standards so that we can continually improve the experience we provide to our guests.
Andrew has been with Ballathie House Hotel for over 4 years and has built and developed a kitchen brigade who create and produce the fantastic food upon which Ballathie is famed for.
Using Scotland’s bountiful larder of local produce, Andrew and his brigade create delicious dishes to tempt you. With many awards already provided they seek to maintain and grow upon their 2 rosette standard.
A long serving member of the team at the hotel, Maureen has been her for 17 Years and was promoted to Head Housekeeper 10 years ago.
“Complete comfort and cleanliness is her goal for every guest” and with several awards including Housekeeper of the year 2011, she aimes to ensure her high standards are noticed.
David joined the hotel from the Green hotel in Kinross as a restaurant supervisor and has recently been promoted to the above role in which he relishes in his passion for wine. Looking after the hotel’s cellar and continually developing the list, David is very happy to select, provide tasting notes and even show you his cellar.
Sharon and her team at reception are always on hand to assist with reservations, providing information on local attractions and welcoming all our guests to the hotel. Having started at Ballathie some 9 years ago, she has enjoyed being a part of the team and looks forward to meeting each of our guests.
