Edradour Distillery

Edradour Distillery is the smallest distillery in Scotland producing just 12 casks per week. It nestles in the hills above Pitlochry, not far from Ballathie, in rural Perthshire - see the map below.

 

And if you're interested in touring a local distillery, you can! Ballathie has teamed up with Tullibardine Distillery to offer a distillery and whisky tasting tour.

DISTILLERIES

Edradour Distillery, Pitlochry - Scotland's smallest distillery and the last original 'farm' distillery producing just 12 casks of whisky per week.
Opening times:
January - End February: Monday - Saturday 10 am to 4 pm. Sunday Closed.
March and April: Monday - Saturday 10am to 4pm, Sunday 12 noon - 4pm
May and October: Monday - Saturday 10am to 5pm, Sunday 12 noon - 5pm
June to September: Monday - Saturday 9.30am to 5pm, Sunday 12 noon - 5pm
November & December: Monday - Saturday 10am to 4pm, Sunday 12 noon - 4pm
Entry fee: Tours at Edradour are free of charge


Glenturret Distillery, Crieff - Scotland's oldest distillery and now home to the Famous Grouse Experience.
Opening times:
March - December: Open 9am-6pm First Tour 9.30am | Last Tour 4.30pm
January & February: Open 10am-4.30pm First Tour 10.30am | Last Tour 3pm
CLOSED 25th-26th December and 1st January
Entry fee: starts from £6.95.


Blair Athol Distillery, Blair Athol - Established in 1798, one of the oldest working distilleries in Scotland.
Opening times:
Easter to October: Monday to Saturday: 9.30am - 5pm
June to October: Also Sunday: 12noon - 5pm
November & December: Monday to Friday: Tours at 11am, 1pm & 3pm
Entry Fee: £5 for adults part redeemable in shop


Tullibardine Distillery, Blackford - Nestled at the foot of the Ochil Hills in Perthshire, which are renowned for the crystal purity of their spring water, Tullibardine is the most accessible distillery in Scotland.
Opening times
Open 7 days a week
Entry Fee: starts from £5.00 per person.  Vouchers for a free tour of the Tullibardine Distillery are available at the hotel reception.

Dewars World of Whisky, Aberfeldy - A unique and interactive centre making use of the latest technology to celebrate the courageous entrepreneurial spirit of the Dewar Family.
