Summer Breaks in Perthshire

Enjoy a Summer Break in Perthshire and take in some of the many events that the area has to offer.

Highland Games take place across Scotland throughout the summer with perhaps the most famous being held in Braemar on the first weekend in September.

Perthshire and the surrounding area also plays host to a number of Agricultural Shows through the Summer with The Scottish Game Fair being held within the grounds of Scone Palace on Fri 2nd, Sat 3rd and Sun 4th July 2010.

Nearby Perth Racecourse hosts several jump meetings over the summer months and the Central Scotland International Horse Trials and Championships at Scone Palace and the Blair Castle International Horse Trials and Country Fair both take place in the month of August.
