Hogmanay begins with a leisurely Scottish breakfast before you escape into the beauty of Perthshire. Treat yourselves to a trip to the snow-clad mountains, visit the waterfalls at The Hermitage in Dunkeld, or enjoy a little retail therapy in the charming towns and villages nearby. During the afternoon, soak up the atmosphere of the hotel with afternoon tea accompanied by traditional Scottish-inspired entertainment. That evening, a sumptuous dinner will be served. As the Bells approach, with dancing and entertainment in full swing, we will join the piper for the traditional singing of Auld Lang Syne, before continuing the celebrations into the wee sma’ hours.
New Year’s Day is a time to relax and recover from the night before. Sleep late and join us for a Buck’s Fizz brunch, before discovering the grounds, walking the woodland paths, watching the silvery Tay race by, or simply relaxing in the comfort of our lounges beside warming log fires. Guests are invited to an indulgent Grand Ne’er Day Buffet, showcasing the skills of Head Chef Scott Scorer and our dedicated team, bringing the evening’s festivities to a warm and elegant close.
