The First Days of Christmas at Ballathie

Some of the loveliest days of Christmas come before Christmas itself.

From the beginning of November, the first signs of Christmas begin to appear at Ballathie. Outdoor lights glow as dusk settles over the River Tay, fires warm the house and the Christmas tree takes its place for the season.  By mid-November, Ballathie has settled beautifully into Christmas.

Come for one night or linger for two. Wake slowly to breakfast, wander beside the Tay on a crisp winter morning, settle into a favourite chair by the fire and enjoy the simple pleasure of having nowhere else you need to be.  No itinerary. No rushing. Just time entirely your own.

Arrive in time for Afternoon Tea for two before settling into your Main House or Riverside Standard Room.

As evening falls, enjoy Ballathie at your own pace. Find a place beside the fire, enjoy a drink or reserve a table for dinner in the restaurant.  The following morning, linger over a full Scottish breakfast before enjoying a 12 noon late checkout.
